The Guest Room No. 1: A medley of rare vintage finds from fashion to furniture.
The Founder and Process
The Guest Room No. 1 was founded in 2018 by Melanie Michniewicz – mother, RN, and most recently – small business owner. Throughout her life, she has exercised her creative flare, and now has the opportunity to share her refurbishing talents with the Largo community. From distressed vintage furniture to embroidered artwork, Melanie rescues, refurbishes, and re-homes classic decor of all shapes and sizes. Our process has given new life to countless pieces of furniture, and given our patrons truly unique discussion pieces. Expanding from vintage furniture, Melanie collects, freshens, and refurbishes high quality antiques that will remind you of your childhood.
